Tamuno Cookey is an agent who can bring both an international perspective and local expertise, he has a background to offer it all. After his time as a student in Acadia University’s Business Program, Tamuno worked in Korea as an English as a Second Language teacher for 4 years. His experience overseas taught him an number of skills he now applies to his real estate business - including attention to detail in research, objective and informative communication abilities and a calm demeanour in stressful circumstances. His return to Nova Scotia saw him continue in the education field, working with the International Language Institute in Halifax again as an educator - helping new Nova Scotia residents settle into their new environment. Of course, this was a natural transition for his next career shift - into the world of Real Estate. As an agent, he still helps people get comfortable in new environments, whether it's first time home buyers or experienced sellers.
