Brennan Centre

Located between the bustling downtown core and the vibrant and growing Garibaldi Estates neighbourhood. Offering easy access to both forested singletrack and paved bike trails, Brennan Centre is also the location of the Brennan Park Recreation Centre. The modern facility houses a large indoor public swimming pool, plus hot tub and sauna, as well as a skating arena and community rooms. It’s also where you’ll find Squamish’s wide range of leisure fields, as well as mini BMX track and baseball diamonds. It’s a great place to meet people and take part in Squamish’s healthy and active lifestyle. Both the community centre and neighbourhood honour the name of Pat Brennan, a legendary mayor of Squamish who in 1964 was instrumental in bringing together and amalgamating the communities of Brackendale, Mamquam and the Village of Squamish into the town of Squamish we know today.
The Brennan Centre neighbourhood includes a mix of single-family homes with a smattering of townhomes. This area of Squamish has seen the most significant grow over the last 10-year period.  It’s location to the Highway, Downtown and the recreation facilities has made it an ideal location for young families. At present there is a substantial town home development with approx. 70 units completed in the past 2 years.  There are several more complexes that are zoned and in the planning stage.  The single-family area know as Ravens Wood is nearing completion with most homes being 3 plus bedrooms appealing to young or growing families.  Several other parcels for land to the east and slightly off the valley floor are in the planning stages meaning that the growth pattern will continue for some time to come.
