Kim MacKay's Background

Kim graduated from the University of Western Ontario, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and was first introduced to the real estate business at the age of 23, as a Relocation Specialist for a national relocation company. Kim joined A.E. LePage Real Estate, located at Bloor and Islington in Etobicoke, shortly after obtaining her RREA - Registered Real Estate Agent, Real Estate License. Over the next ten years, Kim worked as a busy Realtor in Toronto, Mississauga, and Oakville. When she moved her family from Toronto to south Mississauga, she joined a Re/Max office in Mississauga, attaining many awards such as 100% Club and Executive Club.

After delivering her second child, Kim accepted a position as a Corporate Sales Manager, in downtown Toronto and worked in the wireless industry for several years. From 2002 - 2011 Kim ran her family's investment business as Vice President of DaveMac Investments Ltd., then in 2011, returned to the Real Estate industry, and is now with Royal LePage Real Estate Services Ltd., covering Toronto, Missisauga, Oakville, Burlington/Hamilton areas.

Kim studied to obtain the Certified Negotiation Expert (C.N.E.) designation in 2012, to assure her clients that she knows how to negotiate the best possible price and terms at the offer table. As well, Kim's interest in helping elderly people led her to obtain the Accredited Senior’s Agent (A.S.A.) designation.

Kim’s personal experience with real estate is extensive, having owned nineteen homes over the years, including recreational properties. As well, Kim has personal experience investing in eight commercial, income-earning properties. As a result, Kim understand's the challenges involved in buying or selling real estate.  Her commitment to every client is to help them make a smooth transition, and exceed their expectations.

Finally, 'giving back' to the community and to those in need, is an important concept to Kim. Over the past 12 years, Kim has been giving back to the community with her many volunteer efforts including volunteering at Peel Family and Adult Shelters; fundraising for Kerr Street Mission in Oakville; creating the volunteer newsletter for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Head Office. As well, Kim has served as Chair of the Outreach Committee, and currently is Chair of Rentals, at her place of worship.


Kim was born in Oakville, and has lived with her family in Oakville and Mississauga.
