In July 2017, I had the privilege of joining an enthusiastic group of Royal LePage professionals from across Canada on a journey to Iceland's Southern Highlands where we trekked over 100km across difficult terrain in unpredictable weather. During this 8-day experience, we camped in tents, and went without electricity and cell service and little access to medical care. It was a challenge but each step we took, we raised hundreds of thousands of dollars and community awareness for women and children who are walking away from violence each and every day in our country.
In support of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, I was pleased to raise over $10,000 which will fund our local shelter, as well as domestic violence prevention programs across the country. 100% of all monies raised – will go directly to helping us put an end to family violence in Canada.
Thank you to all who supported my journey!
