Tanya Colbo

Born and raised in St. John's, Newfoundland, where I also raised my wonderful daughter and enjoyed a bustling career in food and beverage. In 2007, after my parents decided to move to Nova Scotia, I decided to join them in this beautiful province. I started in real estate back in 2015 after a long and gratifying 22 year career in the F&B sector. I needed a change and wanted a career where I could still use my people skills to help people and many people had suggested to me over the years that I would make a great real estate agent. I found this funny, as I'd never really felt like being a salesperson was where I wanted to land. But then, once I talked to my friends and family about their experiences with their agents, I realized that I could make myself stand out as an agent who truly cares, and would always take the time to make sure my clients felt supported and safe while navigating such a huge and sometimes daunting process (and make it fun!)

So I finally took the plunge, and haven't looked back since! Heading into my 10th year, I look back at the last decade with pride. With almost 100 five-star reviews on Google, I smile when I think of all the people I have helped buy their first homes, sell that first home and find their "forever home", relocate to our beautiful province, or find that perfect retirement sanctuary. As a yearly Royal LePage^® award winner, I'm delighted to stand with my colleagues in the top 3% in my market, and the top 5% in Canada. 

In my spare time you will see me out and about with my sweet chihuahua Ava, hanging out with friends and family, or enjoying one of the countless AMAZING restaurants this amazing province has to offer. I can never say no to a good movie or the theatre, and I'm always so grateful for my weekly board game nights with my wonderful daughter. I'm also a HUGE believer in supporting small businesses, and really make sure to support them through both my business and personal spending.
