Guildwood Village

Guildwood Village is one of Toronto's most picturesque and inclusive neighborhoods. It is about 20 km from downtown and  about a 15 minutes drive from The Beaches. I always think of areas with respect to The Beaches as 2 of our offices are in the Beach proper, although our Kingston Rd office is almost at the East of the Beach so therefore central to all the East areas of Toronto.

The main entrance to the Guildwood neighbourhood is marked by elegant stone pillar entrance with cast iron gateway, which sits at Kingston Road and Guildwood Parkway.

The major landmark in this neighbourhood is the historic Guild Inn, with its interesting history, check my blog for the long story of the Guild Inn which is  located at 201 Guildwood Parkway. The Guild Inn was situated on ninety acres of property overlooking the Scarborough Bluffs.

Guildwood Village has an active community association that produces its own newsletter as well as sponsoring various neighbourhood events, like "Dinner and a Song" and "Guilwood Day" in the summer.
